Drawing on both his transactional and bankruptcy law experience, John advises his clients on a broad range of matters that include buying and selling businesses, partnership buyouts, real estate transactions, securities matters, drafting operating agreements, corporate governance, and negotiating business contracts. He often works with entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders as outside general counsel, advising companies on their key business issues and transactions.

John frequently represents borrowers and institutions in finance transactions, which have included over $250 million in secured loan financings and over $100 million in equipment and personal property leases. John also advises startups and emerging growth companies on raising capital through private placements

John’s bankruptcy practice involves representing debtors and creditors in litigation and workouts both inside and outside of the bankruptcy process. John has argued in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona on behalf of bankruptcy trustees, debtors, and creditors.
