What We Do

Federal Indian Law

We focus on preserving and expanding the inherent rights and interests of sovereign tribal governments and tribal organizations. We have an in-depth knowledge of tribal self-governance, and a keen understanding of state and federal laws affecting tribal interests and assets. We advocate for tribes in negotiating intergovernmental agreements, drafting federal legislation, and litigating cases involving Native American Law, tribal rights, land claims, water rights and the enforcement of tribal sovereignty and sovereign immunity.
